Who We Are

Aggie Toastmasters was founded in 2011, and is Texas A&M University's on-campus chapter of Toastmasters International, which is widely recognized as the world's premier public speaking organization. At the core of our group are a number of dedicated and active members, drawn largely from the university’s student body. We attract an incredibly diverse membership of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff members from a variety of majors, fields of study, and cultural backgrounds. Our club helps its members become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. Here, you’ll find a warm, supportive group that shares your goals. All are welcome!

We meet every Wednesday evening, 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Come join us!

Public Speaking and Leadership

Are you interested in becoming a better public speaker and communicator? To be more effective when giving presentations in your classes, labs, or at conferences? Would you like to develop your leadership skills? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Aggie Toastmasters may be for you!

At Aggie Toastmasters, our primary objectives are threefold:

1.) Provide a safe and enriching environment for our members.

2.) Support and encourage our members on their paths towards personal and professional development by providing opportunities to grow their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills.

3.) Encourage our members to expand and diversify their social network through involvement with Aggie Toastmasters as well as through our affiliation with Toastmasters International.

Mentorship Program

Toastmasters International follows a professional meeting setting so members can get the needed experience to become better speakers and leaders in their respective professional world. As Aggie Toastmasters is a Texas A&M University-based club, we try to help our members ease into the professional culture and setting by assigning mentors. Aggie Toastmasters mentors include veteran speakers who have the experience to guide and help new members acclimatize in this new setting.

Member of the Month

Here at AGGIE TOASTMASTERS we like to recognize the invaluable contribution and efforts our members put in towards their success and indirectly or directly to the club's success. Each month, Aggie Toastmasters presents the Member of the Month award to one such member who has shown continuous improvement, persistence and leadership. This is our way to acknowledge them and say "Thank You."
